But really the main thing that makes art, is not whether people believe that what has been produced is art. But rather if the creator has absolutely no embarrassment about their own work. If an artist is confident their work is what they wanted and no one can tell them otherwise, then what has been created is art. But one must remember, not all art is good art. If you throw some paint onto a canvas or put a sentence down on paper you can call it art, but how much thought can be put into or even onto that single focal point?

If just by giving the art piece a single glance one can tell everything that they believe is meant or even needed to be said about it, then the art piece is not good art. If the art is simple yet many thoughts or different meanings can be pulled out of it then the art is god.

Take, for example these lyrics from a Interpol Song entitled "Take you on a Cruise"

"Tears drown in the wake of delight

there's nothing like this built today

You'll never see a finer ship

or receive a better tip in your life"

Now the first two lines of this song, not too confusing, sad... yes, but none the less understandable. Now the last two lines could be seen in two main different perspectives. The first view being that by a ship the singer means that he's ready to be steady with the girl. And by tip, he means a hint that she's the one for him.

The second perspective is slightly more graphic (cover your children's eyes please) By ship the singer is referring to his (car?). And mostly the latter part is referring to how his d**k is the best thing that the lady will ever lay her eyes upon.

Now which version of these lyrics do i personally believe is the correct metaphor? Personally i would like to imagine the first set of meanings but the odds of that being the correct answer is about 50% (who would've thought!).

So with as many meanings as there could be for just that one subject the lyrics are truly art. Would you be able to think that hard about a splatter of paint on a canvas? Maybe.

Think about that,

~Cring

Putting the "art" back into... Poetry?

Recently I wrote a sonnet to help prove a point. I wasn't feeling sad or anything when I wrote it, I just happened to be looking out over a freeway and thinking about all the death that happens upon it. So for some odd reason, i have now decided to begin to write random samples of poetry and post them onto my blog. Why? Because then it gets out into the public and then I have to let all the ideas in my head out. Otherwise I will come up with only a half-assed censored poem. Half-assed censored poems are the epitome of evil...

Now why poetry on an art blog? Because one of the ideas that i would like to try to get across to you is that writing is a type of Art. Just like a painting, poetry can strike a certain chord with you that would you wouldn't have expected it to have. Like for example, last week i wrote that poem and then posted it. Several days later i went back and re-read it. I found it to be a really simple, yet effective poem. If you ever think that a poem someone does is good and you really enjoy it, tell the author that makes them very happy to hear... Unless it is actually a private poem meant for only one person. Then it could be a bad idea. But on the rare occasion where that might occur perhaps you could give them some pointers.

If their poem has really no rhyme scheme to it, then maybe you should try to help them make one up.

Like this one - (*note I found this in my house somewhere..not sure where but it is a good example, of what not to do)

*Edit: I found out I wrote this in an earlier time in my life (middle school-ish)

The world sighs when she laughs,
when she speaks the gets brighter,
when she cries the world weeps,
when she sighs the gets lighter... (kill me now...plz!)

Her movement, smooth and calm,
her her hair so light and blonde,
it moves with her in sync, as she goes
Her eyes so gentle, so caring...

Her voice like an orchestra
on their last concert, their best
She smiles like only angels can
So soft, so perfect, so...her

When Times are bad, shes there
She shows how much she can care
you get the warm and fuzzies,
when she comes you feel light as air

So many words to describe her,
too few to case the booth
she is complete and perfect in every way
I wish she knew the truth....

This poem could be changed to be a lot better, If i was to re-write this poem it would go like this (note-I still could make improvement but it is getting late)-

The World follows her every move,
Everyone bows before her feet,
the one who stands behind with love
ever-afraid of loves only defeat,

Her movement so smooth with a chance,
Her hair so light and blonde,
they move together like two lovers in a dance,
her eyes convey more than she will say,

Hey voice is that of fantasy,
like an orchestra on the finale,
when she smiles, what a release of ecstasy,
Her thoughts surely are good within the tally,

When times go dark, She is the light,
She will show how much she cares,
when I see her, my heart fills with delight,
when she passes by I feel light as air,

So many words for such beauty,
too few to case the booth,
with the feelings so strong, truly
I wish she knew the truth...

Comment if you think i should change any of it...

Think about that,
~Cring

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://osnt.blogspot.com/2008/03/putting-back-into-poetry.html' title='Putting the "art" back into... What feeling is it that i am talking about? How about the feeling of being so excited that you own it but can't play it or even touch it due to what i like to call the divorce effect. Since my parents are about as split up

as this sentence(I may want to add some more lines in between). I am currently about 20 miles from being remotely close to touching the game. I would also have to swim quite a bit to reach it also... stupid bay.... Oh well i was going to tell you what this feeling that few of you may ever get to feel is like. So imagine that you body is a balloon, okay? now slowly air is entered into you you slowly swell up until you become three times as big as what you originally were. Now you are put close to a flame which makes all the little Oxygen molecules inside you go crazy... Slowly the pressure and excitement continue to build until you almost cant handle it anymore! Just when you think that you are about to finally lose control and explode, you don't the feeling doesn't end, you just seem to be able to hold more air inside of you. In short the feeling is a bit like that. It the excitement that bubbles up into you very being. Some of you may be saying, wow that guy is obsessed with games, not entirely true. The reason that i write about this is not to say how awesome the game is going to be, but to explain that sometimes if you go to an art museum and you see a piece of art that just screams at you about how amazing it is. You may just feel a feeling very similar to what i have described. I just want you to know that you are not the only one, others have found things that give them the "hit" of excitement that you have felt. Others have found it just like you have, serendipitously or otherwise.

In one second your whole mood can change
Think about that,
~Cring

Art for Photoshop

Recently I started to draw in an art journal. You know a sketch pad. So after several designs I decided that I should make my idea look better for viewers. So I took some of my favorites and scanned them into the computer.

This picture I liked and decided to turn into something a little more interesting (trust me when i say that it is hard to keep an image the same size)

I had some real progress going on this one but my computer crashed, yet again teaching me the value of saving often. How about how art is influenced by society and therefor the art itself is not a criticism of the world but rather a compliment. Now the parody of the title is that there is a book by a similar name known as The World According to Garp. The book itself is a book of interest to some, I myself found it (let's just say I never finished it).

Any who, let's talk about art! First thing I would like to talk about is how art is more than influenced by the world. If the world did not exist there would be no art. not because people would not be around to make art but because, simply there would be nothing to make art of. For example (musically) if you have a song by some emo-punk band that is all about how the singer got dumped simply because he was too caring, and now he is too sad to go on with life and yada yada yada... You get the idea. The song, in question would not be made at all if the singer had never been dumped (it would also help if the world didn't hate emo-punk singers).

Now another type of art that is inexplicably affected by the surrounding events is writing. What!?!? Writing, a type of art? NOooo!!! I don't believe it! Yes, Writing. Everyone knows how and everyone does this type of art. Whether it is meant to be art or not, doesn't matter it is still a wholly unique art-style. Poetry is by far the best example, who is to say that if I strung some random words together that it isn't art? What if I was to type a sonnet such as-

Walking through the streets I see hope and sin
I stare and stare until I feel blinded
what hope, what misery has fallen here?
like see-saws it balances back and forth
more hope more sin it is never ending
I feel a tug, a grasp so tight on me
a push, a shove, a pull, a free feeling

Who is to say that those words put in that order isn't art? Who is to say that someone else could've put those exact same words in that order? The point is is that I did it first and the point i make is more important than the order or the actual literal words.

Think about that,
~Cring

Suspicion of Oncoming Death

Recently I had a friend of mine force me to go out with him to El Centro in California. Now I live in the San Diego area which means that the drive to the aforementioned location is a good 2-3 hour drive. This means that during this entire time I have this entire time to think. About what? About what my friend was going to show me. He thought that it would be more fun if I had no clue as to what we were going to see.(Hence one of my thoughts being this post's title)

It turns out that Spencer, the tricky kind of friend that he is, was taking me to go see a cool state monument known as Salvation Mountain. This was a rather big surprise. Just seconds before seeing it I had suspected Spencer to be putting me in some sort of survival situation. Which is something i would not put behind this man to do to me. When I first saw the giant hill i thought to myself, wow how awesome would it be to climb on that structure? I then found that you could, that really made my day.

Anyways about the mountain, the mountain is really cool. The creator, Leonard Knight made it the same way that Indians used to make adobe houses. The entire hill is composed of straw, mud, and dirt(is that redundant?). If you ever are near the Imperial County and have a few hours, I would suggest checking it out. The first glimpse is really the best moment.

All done, for now...
~Cring

One of these days..

I will actually come up with a good title for a post. But until then You all will have to deal with my "smart-ass" titles.

Earlier in my blog I gave a small talk about how art first came to be. Personally i felt that I had said enough. But after much thought I finally decided to be nice and give more information. So below you will find a Summary of the Caveman Story, which is my second favorite post. (first being this one)

So enjoy, also I hope that some of you may find this useful.

Painting with Pigments: By Chris Ring
Have you ever held up a prism to the light and seen the rainbow shine through onto the ground? What you are seeing is little bit like painting, pigments, the basis of all painting colors do something very similar. Pigments take the light that shines upon them and then reflects a certain color of the light’s rainbow back. The color that is reflected back is the color that we see.
Our eyes have the ability to see colors in a certain wavelength. Though we know that there are more colors in the suns light than we can see, we are only able to see colors that are within 400 to 700 Nanometers (nm). “Although we see sunlight (or white light) as uniform or homogeneous in color, it is actually composed of a broad range of radiation wavelengths” [1], or in other words, we are actually seeing all the colors at once but because all the colors are right on top of each other we end up seeing white light.
Now you may be asking your-self “But why do I need to know about light if I want to know about pigments?” Pigments and light go hand in hand; if it weren’t for pigments you wouldn’t be able to see the colors in the light spectrum. So yes now you recognize why you need to know how pigments and light are related, but still there is no answer for how they interact with each other. As the light hits the surface of the pigment, the pigment absorbs all the colors in the light spectrum except for the color that the pigment is. So if the pigment is blue then it will absorb every color except blue. The remaining color of the light gets reflected off the surface and now that there is only one color left in the spectrum we are able to see that color instead of just white light. Although this may seem to be opposite what some may think, that is how a pigment works. Some people may believe that the pigment absorbs only the color the it is, they believe that in fact our eyes make up for the fact that “blue” is missing and therefore we see the missing color. This is completely wrong, never believe a word of someone who believes this.
Sometimes the color of a pigment is too dull to be used, when this happens artists, will add extra materials to the pigments to help enhance their color and durability. Some materials that can be added are lead and egg.
The problem with adding lead to the pigment isn’t that the lead dulls the color but the lead is poisonous to us. Adding lead to paint makes it so that longtime exposure can lead to certain health risks including: raised blood-pressure levels, blood deficiency, reduced fertility in men, and even brain disorders such as schizophrenia [2]. If so many health risks, why bother putting lead into paint? Lead is very durable and lasts a very long time. This makes it perfect for using with white lead. The difference between lead and white lead is that white lead is made when lead (regular) is added to Acetic acid (vinegar). A chemical reaction occurs and white lead forms on the outside of the lead. White lead is also known as PbCO (3)2. [3]
Now eggs may seem silly to use with pigments, but this is not the case, the egg has a chemical change and due to all the air exposure it looses all trace of odor and becomes perfect for holding pigments. This is because the yolk will slowly over time becomes more transparent. Yolk is also sticky which helps bind the pigments to the canvas[4].
Painting; with just that one word many thoughts can take over one’s head. But have you ever thought how it is that painting ever began? Let’s go back in time to the age of the beginning of man. Back to the dawn of the caveman…
Now cavemen were different from other species. But still there was something that always bothered the cavemen. How could he express himself if he had no muscle control in his face? So being the evolutionary type of guy that he was, the caveman got to work trying to deduce how he could be different. Now, yes it may have taken him quite some time to figure it out but, it’s like they say, the longer you wait the better the reward becomes. One day as he walked over a boulder he heard something behind him and when he looked back he saw...nothing, except for where he had been walking on the rock. He looked at his footsteps and then it hit him! He could see his footprints on the rock! The mud that had been on his feet had to be the answer! The caveman quickly gathered up some mud and ran home. When he got home he ran to the back of his cave and threw some mud on the wall he then stroked his finger through it and watched as the image in his head was placed upon the wall. The caveman liked what he had done he felt the satisfactory feeling of success.
By the time the 1800’s rolled around painting was much more sophisticated. Painting had evolved into not only a fun way to tell a story but it was a way of life for some. The paints had become more than just berries mashed together, now it was special-made pigments mixed with eggs and sometimes even lead.
When the special-made pigments are added together with eggs the result is a type of paint known as egg tempera. Egg tempera is known to be hazardous for painters of any age, especially those who are pregnant with children. It may seem that the egg is what is hazardous, what with all the hype about Salmonella and such and such. But actually it is the pigments that are placed in egg that are dangerous. Certain colors are made in a chemical fashion that our bodies cannot cope with.
Some colors that are known to cause problems are pigments that have select types of metals added to them; metals such as lead and cadmium are very bad for a body to come in contact with. Because most egg tempera painters mix their own paint it is easy for them to come in contact with many different hazardous metals, through the air and through physical contact. Egg tempera artists sometimes go as far as to grind up their own pigments. This is where the most hazards comes from, as an artist grinds up their pigments such as emerald green, the color releases a minute, yet still potentially deadly amount of arsenic powder into the air[5].
With all the controversy among painting and the materials added into it, one may not know just what to do about painting. Should you paint your house? What about that white wall I the corner? I it going to give me cancer?! You can be reassured that for the most part our government has made our homes safe and as non-toxic as possible[6]. Just remember to look at the labels and you should be fine. But if your walls have been painted with a lead-based paint leave the walls alone. Either paint over them or get a professional to remove the paint.

[1]- Reusch, William. But first, a little background information on her.

Renee Richettes is an artist who has recently become known for her scrap metal "Books". These books are made of scrap metal consisting of spam cans, soda cans, cracker tins and other such things. With the materials she gathers she smashes them until they become flat and then puts them together into an order into which she tries to tell a story.

Now then, onto my interview-

Cring- "So Renee, What first got you into the amazing world of art?"

Renee- "Well actually I was born into this life. I am the 3rd generation in my family of being an artist. I grew up surrounded by it"

Cring- "Okay, okay, so what do you use for inspiration?"

Renee- "Well it really depends on the moment in time. I either go with what I'm thinking at the moment or I look other people's work"

Cring- "Well that leads perfectly into my next question, Do you often compare your own work to the work of others?"

Renee- "No but I do look at other peoples stuff. To either help me get started to help me see that what I'm trying to go for is, in fact possible"

Cring- "So when you are first trying to come up with an idea do you sketch it out or do you go straight into the work?"

Renee- "Well I go straight into my work; unless I'm at a place where I can't start then I'll draw out my idea in my sketch book."

Cring- "How about the materials you use, do they reflect upon your ideas or philosophies at all?"

Renee- "Well yeah they do reflect upon my philosophies. I really hate the thought of global warming so I try to reuse as much of my materials as I can. That’s why the book I make right now are all coming from either the dump or out of my friends recycling. I will use them to their fullest extent. By doing this I feel like I'm reducing carbon emissions"

Cring- "So what is important in contemporary art today?"

Renee- "Now-a-days It is important to have your art be reflective of politics or of something that is effecting society. What you have to realize is that no art can be created in a vacuum, there is always something going on when art is created. It's Impossible to have your art not be reflective of something. And that reflection is exactly what art institutes want"

Cring- "So how do you balance 'Vision' with 'Commercial Appeal'?"

Renee- "That is really a tough one, at some point an artist has to address the need to live and survive; you know eat sleep, that sort of thing. Every Artist needs to be fed. It has to a thing between what the artist wants to do and what the rest of the world wants. Sometimes the artist just has to 'bite the bullet' and go for what will help them stay in the game"

Cring- "wow that really means a lot, so ummm... What should young artists, such as me, do to prepare them for the Art World?"

Renee- "Whatever you can do to be around art. Look at art, produce art, volunteer at an art institute; find an art gallery near you. Absolutely whatever you can to be near it because that is really the key. By being near art you learn more about it. This will keep you in the 'continuous dialogue' that is running between artists and the world. This helps you see not just the final piece of work but the process of art being made. That is by far the most important step, understanding that art takes a long process to finish. It never happens instantaneously. If you can go look at the Louvre, there is amazing stuff there. The Louvre is about all the inspiration an artist needs"

Cring- "Well many thanks to you for your help. It has been a huge pleasure interviewing you. Thank you very much"

Renee- "Thank you very Chris for interviewing me"

Totally-Sidetracked-Sidenotes

So recently my brother brought to my attention an online comic that is catching every ones attention. So being the hip young guy that I am, I jumped on the band-wagon and checked out this new comic. It is known as Garfield Minus Garfield. This comic is pretty much amazing. Hopefully any of you viewers will think so too.

On a side-side note (since this blog is essentially a giant cyber side note)Recently I have stopped listening to the radio. This is because there is absolutely nothing good to listen to. Now many of you may just stop reading there because you happen to like rap or hip-hop but all I have to say is that sometimes you reach a point where it is better to go back a few years and listen to all the old music. I am not talking about music from the 60's or anything like that. I mean music from the early 2000's (wow that just sounds really weird I mean the century is almost over! wow amazing!). Bands such as Wilco or Interpol, or even Radiohead were coming out with great albums, but because there was so much hype about techno and rap and dance, most of their music got glazed over without much air play. This was a very unfortunate turn of events for indie bands such as the aforementioned. Now-a-Days, if one goes back one can find some friggin' awesome music that was almost completely missed by most of society. Lets take, for example, Wilco's one hit that was played on the radio maybe like 5 times. It was a very catchy tune but nobody heard it unless by a random happenstance they were listening at just the right time. This Song Was really Good. (Props to mapdpunk for posting their own video(also about halfway through the song it stops, that shouldn't actually be there)) Just give it a listen or two, if it doesn't grow on you at all then maybe you are one of the hipsters that finds today's music to be better than anything you have ever heard before. Just remember no matter how creative people are everyone will run out of ideas eventually. by that time your raps and hip-hop songs will be old and used. mine will still be untouched by most of society.

*Edit: Also the bands mentioned above have lyrics that have way more meaning than most other types of songs. Just read this line from Wilco's Jesus Etc. "You were right about the stars... each one is a setting sun" To me that kind of lyric is like thousands of times better than any lyric about living on the streets of L.A. or being shot and thinking that you will die on the streets, bleeding. Like any rapper wants to, to go down with style, in a way that is talked about but never fulfilled.

Just an after thought

Now let me explain something about art, just to make this Side-note at least somewhat pertinent to the overall topic of this blog. Because art can come in many forms, one being visual and another being musical, it is possible to have separate mini- genres by which the means of expressing one's own opinion can be made either more or less apparent. Through music, the opinion can take on the "Slap-you-in-the-face" obviousness, or can be on the "Think-hard-about-this-for-a-while... got-it-yet?-good-your-wrong" sublimeness. One way to decipher a song's meaning is a way that is very similar to the way of deciphering a piece of art's meaning. The method that I am referring to is how the song/art piece makes you feel. this is the most effective method of finding the true meaning of a song. Other ways are to take the absolute most literal meaning possible or even the "Way-deeper-than-Anyone-should-ever-think-about-a-piece-of-art" method. The method mentioned in the latter is the type is used mostly by art snobs. Since nobody likes art snobs, I would suggest not using this method.

~Cring over and Out

Poetic Thoughts

Sometimes after somebody, like myself, finishes writing several pieces of poetry, they choose to make a new piece of poetry. I'm not necessarily talking about a written form either. This new piece of poetry could be anything. From a painting, to a sculpture. Anything can be a physical representation of poetry.

For instance, I decided that in order to give my piece the extra personalized feeling that I could, I decided to take something that I was good at, such as graphic design, and made myself a digital portrait of me.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_tm2HujjBZlA/R8dtLAqIW3I/AAAAAAAAABI/68df5RTJXiA/s320/Poetry.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5172222732981001074" />
Personally I thought that I did a good job.

Now you may be asking yourself, "What exactly is This guy trying to say with this portrait?" Now to answer yo question and keep you from pondering this for a long time, I'll go ahead and explain it.

If you'll notice, where my body should be I have words filling in the negative space.
I did this to say, in some way or another, there is more to me than what meets the eye I can be as open as a book to read, or maybe you will have to look deeper. The most apparent way that i believe that this picture represents me is that the look on my face just screams "you think you know all there is to know about me but are you positive of that?

Possibly, some of you are in absolute amazement of how awesome the picture looks and probably think that I might tell you just how I did that cool effect. After giving it much thought, I have decided that there is no one person that is the true owner of photoshop (except maybe Abobe... but they don't count) so sure I will tell you the effect I used. In photoshop I made the foreground color Yellow, and the background color Black. Then I went to Filters and found myself a filter named Stamp. After using that I had almost the finished product. the final step was to add my Sonnet form poem that i wrote inside my yellow silhouette.

In conclusion, (man that finishing line makes this seem really formal) I have decided that I like my picture and really expresses how I was feeling when I wrote the poem. If you are thinking to yourself, and thinking that you wish you could express you feeling in a similar way, then i would highly recommend trying this.

Pigments And Relations with Painting

Sometimes as one wanders around the amazing underground life of art. One finds them self questioning whether or not they know just how it is that Art is made.

Recently I found myself asking just that question as I sat in a class listening to my teacher talk about some subject. So later that day i went out and did some searching on the internet... the results were astounding. From one page to another the information was so vast and unique! I was amazed!

This is the basics on Pigments.
Pigments are small colored objects which are suspended in a clear, or semi-transparent material. The suspending material is most of the time either egg yolks, or possibly even oil. This is important for any art enthusiast to know because it is amazing how much more one can appreciate art for all of its beauty when one knows all there is to know about the chemical process and such forth that goes into making that one single painting.

Here is a website that tells one all that one needs to know about pigments. now if you go to this website don't forget to make sure read about every different type of color.

Now Here is my interpretation of how the idea of artistry came to be the idea that it is today.

Long ago, in a different land, there lived a species known to us all today as "cavemen". Now cavemen were different from other species that looked like them, they both had stone-faces but this disappointed the caveman. How could he express himself if he had no muscle control in his face? So being the evolutionary type of guy that he was, the caveman got to work trying to deduce how he could be different. Now, yes it may have taken him quite some time to figure it out but you know what they say the longer you wait the better the reward becomes. Anyways, the caveman was bored one day and as he walked over a boulder he heard something behind him and when he looked back he saw...nothing, except for where he had been walking on the rock. He looked at his footsteps and then it hit him! ... ... ... ... ... ... ... The caveman liked what he had done but decided that his wall need to look more the like the grass he always saw in the meadow, and there should be some of that color that the berries he liked so much were of. So he ran off in search of more answers.

Now the caveman wasn't exactly the brightest of folks. He thought that maybe if he walked over the same boulder with grasses under his feet he might be able to put it on the wall. But as the caveman stepped in the grass nothing happened. The caveman kept wondering around the rock waiting for something to happen. As he was waiting he accidentally slipped on some of his grass. His head hit the boulder with a loud thud! Then as the caveman got up, slightly woozily might I add, he looked at what he had slipped on. He noticed that the grass had been smooshed and had then been rubbed against the rock. That was it! The caveman knew just what to do. You see the caveman was a man who had in all of his days always wanted to learn more and more; today his lesson was how to make primitive artwork.

Lets Talk About Impreesionism! YAY!

As some of you may or may not know Impressionism is a style that was used by artists in the late 19th century.

One of artists who was known for having a somewhat impressionistic art style is Edgar Degas. Mr. Degas is an artist famous for his sketches, sculptures and wire frames. Now Mr. Degas was always mupset that he was lump-summed with other impressionists. Now Degas was very offended by this because for the most part he hated all impressionists and thought that their work was crude and odd. For the most part he thought that his paintings were not Impressionistic at all.
Later on people would come to realize that they were wrong to have rolled him up along with all impressionsists becasue really all the colors he used were too dark and not of the same idea. Instead Edgar Degas liked to call himsel;f a "Realist"

Impressionism is different from what Degas does because an impressionistic artist tries to catch the essence of the ordinary "hustle 'n bustle" of streets and cities. Impressionists try to use ;light colors to reflect upon which way the sun is coming from and to lift up the mood of the painting.

Degas would mainly do art of dancers and ballerinas. He would strive to catch the essence of motion on paper. He would use darker colors to reflect upon the atmospere. Not neccesarily in a bad way but to reflect the shadows instead of the light. As Mr. Degas said once "No art was ever less spontaneous than mine. What I do is the result of reflection and of the study of the great master; of inspiration, spontaneity, temperament, I know nothing."*

*An exerpt from an article at MIT's Website "The Tech" by Victoria Lee\

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://osnt.blogspot.com/2008/02/lets-talk-about-impreesionism-yay.html' title='Lets Talk About Impreesionism!
